Join us for Jane’s Walk 2015, the first ever edition in Miami

About the Cause:

Jane’s Walk is a global movement of free, locally led walking tours inspired by iconic writer and urban activist Jane Jacobs. The walks get people to explore their cities and connect with neighbors. In 2014, there were more than 1,000 walks in more than 130 cities around the world!

About our Walk:

Little Havana is a magic place, dancing to its own rhythm and the inheritor of a rich narrative and cultural vibrancy. These are dynamic times for this struggling neighborhood, and its important to highlight that authentic spirit and urban architectural context that makes it special, and discuss how to best protect that authenticity of spirit while leading the community into the next century. We envision Little Havana as a mixed-use, mixed-income, medium-density, sustainable, walkable urban neighborhood that interweaves historic and modern architecture and contributes to the cultural, social and economic vibrancy of Miami.
